Jesus Christ is true, and his words carry the power of God. The resurrection of Jesus is the clearest evidence of this divine power. Every Sunday, we come together to worship God. Our worship service is a celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, through which God raises people to life (Mark 12:25).
The Sadducees remained bound to death in their search for the truth of the resurrection. In response, Jesus declared, ¡°You are completely wrong!¡± (Mark 12:24), and he emphasized, ¡°He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You Sadducees are all wrong¡± (Mark 12:27). Just as Moses heard the voice of the living God in the burning bush, we, too, are called to recognize Jesus¡¯ resurrection as a manifestation of God¡¯s power, celebrated through our worship and honored as the God of the living.
