God always gives us very special gifts, and among them the greatest is the Holy Spirit. In this world, we need many things-houses, clothing, and food-but we cannot truly live without the Word of God. Everything in Scripture is God¡¯s Word, and it teaches us how to live (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Abraham trusted God and His Word, and through that faith he experienced the holiness of ¡°The LORD Will Provide¡± (Genesis 22:14). In his faithful journey, the land of Moriah became both a place of suffering and of blessing.
Jesus said, ¡°If you want to save your life, you will destroy it. But if you give up your life for me and for the good news, you will save it¡± (Mark 8:35). We should always remember that the witness of Jesus Christ¡¯s crucifixion is inseparable from the witness of His resurrection.
